OpenAI and DeepLearning.AI have partnered to offer a new short course for developers interested in learning ChatGPT Prompt Engineering. The course is available for free for a limited time and is taught by Isa Fulford from OpenAI and Andrew Ng from DeepLearning.AI.
The course is designed to teach developers how to use Large Language Models (LLMs) to build powerful applications quickly. Participants will learn how to use the OpenAI API to build custom chatbots and develop new applications that were previously not possible. The course will also cover best practices for prompt engineering, including summarization, inference, text transformation, and expansion.
The course is beginner-friendly, and participants only need to have a basic understanding of Python to take the course. Advanced machine learning engineers looking to approach the cutting-edge of prompt engineering and LLMs can also benefit from the course.
Participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience with prompt engineering by playing with numerous examples in the course’s Jupyter notebook environment. The instructors will provide two key principles for writing effective prompts, how to systematically engineer good prompts, and teach participants how to build a custom chatbot.
