Effective Date: 05/08/2025
This Privacy Policy describes how Vinod Ravisankar handles information in connection with your use of the Concentration Games: memory.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is designed to be transparent and easy to understand. It explains what data is collected, why it is collected, and how you can manage your privacy choices.
1. Information We and Our Partners Collect
We have designed our App to minimize the collection of personal data. We do not ask you for, nor do we collect, any personal information such as your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
The data collection in our App is handled by our trusted third-party partners to provide core functionalities.
a) Usage and Analytics Data (Google Firebase)
We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand how users interact with our App. This helps us to improve the user experience, fix bugs, and make informed decisions about future features.
Firebase Analytics automatically collects certain information, which may include:
- Device Information: Your device model, operating system version, and screen resolution.
- Usage Data: Information about your sessions, such as how long you use the App, what screens you visit, and which features you interact with.
- Crash Reports: Data related to app crashes and performance issues.
- Identifiers: A mobile ad identifier (such as Android’s Advertising ID) or an app-instance identifier. This data is used in an aggregated, anonymized form and is not linked to you personally.
For more information, you can review Google’s privacy policy: https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy
b) Advertising Data (Google AdMob)
Our App is supported by ads, which are served by Google AdMob. To make these ads relevant to you, AdMob may collect and use your device’s Advertising ID. This allows advertisers to serve personalized ads based on your interests, inferred from your app usage across different apps.
You have control over personalized advertising. See Section 4 (“Your Privacy Rights and Choices”) for instructions on how to opt-out.
For more information on how Google uses data for advertising, please visit: https://developers.google.com/admob/android/privacy/play-data-disclosure
c) Transaction Data (In-App Purchases)
We use Google Play’s billing service for In-App Purchases. When you make a purchase, the transaction is processed securely by Google.
We do not collect or store your payment information, such as credit card numbers. We only receive a confirmation token from Google that a purchase has been completed.
For more information, please review the Google Payments Privacy Notice: https://support.google.com/googleplay/android-developer/answer/10281818?hl=en
2. How We Use Your Information
The information collected by our partners is used for the following purposes:
- To Operate and Improve Our App: Analyzing usage data helps us understand what works, fix what doesn’t, and enhance the overall experience.
- To Provide Relevant Advertising: Displaying ads allows us to offer the App for free. Personalization helps make these ads more useful to you.
- To Fulfill Transactions: To process and validate your In-App Purchases.
- To Maintain Security: To monitor for and prevent fraud and ensure the security of our services.
3. Data Sharing and Third Parties
We do not share any personal data with third parties, as we do not collect any ourselves. The data mentioned above is collected directly by our integrated partners:
- Google (Firebase, AdMob, Google Play)
These partners have their own privacy policies governing their use of data. We encourage you to review them. We have chosen these partners based on their commitment to data security and privacy.
4. Your Privacy Rights and Choices (GDPR & CCPA)
You have rights concerning your data and choices you can make to control it.
a) Opting Out of Personalized Advertising
You can opt-out of personalized advertising on your Android device at any time. This will not stop you from seeing ads, but they will no longer be based on your interests.
To opt-out:
- Open your device’s Settings app.
- Navigate to Google -> Ads.
- Tap on “Delete advertising ID” and confirm. You may also see an option to “Opt out of Ads Personalization” on older Android versions.
b) Your Data Rights (For users in the EU/EEA and other regions with similar laws)
As the data collected is primarily managed by Google and tied to your device’s identifiers, the best way to exercise your rights is through your device settings and Google’s own privacy controls.
- Right to Access and Rectification: Most data is not personally identifiable. You can manage your Google activity data through your Google Account.
- Right to Erasure (Right to be Forgotten): Resetting/deleting your Advertising ID effectively erases the ad-related data link to your previous ID. For Firebase Analytics data, we can trigger a reset of our app-instance data upon request. Please contact us at the email below.
5. Data Security
We rely on the robust security measures of our partners (Google) to protect the data they collect. We take reasonable administrative and technical steps to help protect the integrity and security of our App.
6. Children’s Privacy
Our App is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction, e.g., 16 in parts of the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided us with information without parental consent, we will take steps to delete such information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with information, please contact us.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy within the App and updating the “Effective Date” at the top. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
